Entry requirements
International applicants must meet the academic and English language requirements for their chosen programme.
Academic requirements
Your academic requirements will depend on the programme you choose and may include relevant science subjects.
English language requirements
If English is not your first language, we may ask you to provide evidence of your English language ability. This will normally be equivalent to IELTS 6.0 overall, with no component below 5.5, or an accepted equivalent.
Not sure whether your qualifications meet the requirements? Follow the link below to view country requirements. Our International Admissions Team will also be happy to advise you.
International qualifications
For the Master of Chiropractic and Master of Veterinary Chiropractic, applicants will normally need qualifications equivalent to:
- Three A levels, including Biology or Physical Education, plus one additional science subject and one other subject
- Or a suitable Level 3 qualification that includes sufficient Anatomy & Physiology
- Equivalent international qualifications will also be considered
- If you have relevant prior study, professional experience or other suitable qualifications, we may be able to consider your application on an individual basis
If you do not hold UK qualifications, don’t worry. We will assess your qualifications against the relevant UK equivalent to help confirm whether they meet the academic requirements for your chosen programme.
