GCC Mandate

To maintain your registration with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC), Chiropractors must complete 30 hours of CPD annually, spanning from September to August. This isn’t only about compliance; it’s about staying updated with the latest Chiropractic advancements.

For your convenience, the McTimoney College hosts a variety of CPD events throughout the year. These events cater to different learning preferences, offering both online and in-person options. They not only fulfil your CPD requirements but also provide excellent networking opportunities with fellow professionals.

EMMETT Technique 1 Day Workshop

The EMMETT Technique one-day workshop will be held at the McTimoney College of Chiropractic on 18th May and 5th October, 2024.

The EMMETT Technique uses gentle pressure to significantly reduce body restrictions, tension, and pain, with typically immediate results. It can address both deep and superficial muscles with ease.

The workshop offers a relaxed, enjoyable learning experience in small groups, providing a comprehensive introduction to the EMMETT Technique. It covers 11 specially chosen EMMETT releases from the extended Practitioner course, selected by Ross Emmett. The releases include: foot balance (x2), gastrocs calf release, 1TB, ITB/Sartorius, diaphragm, lat dorsi, forearm, biceps (x2), and SCM.

Completing this workshop also counts towards your CPD hours.
